DATE: Victorian, c.1880

An incredible Victorian diadem (or tiara) that also has the option to be worn as a necklace. There are fittings to the back that can be unscrewed allowing each of the gemset segments to move freely (swipe right to see). It's set with rubies and old cut diamonds, in finely worked silver settings, and dates from the 1880s. Complete with original detachable chain and hair pin. An exceptional piece, we've never seen one quite like it.
