DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
A charming antique sapphire and diamond cluster ring set with an oval, royal blue principal stone and dating from the Edwardian era, circa 1910. The sapphire is nestled within a round halo of old mine cut diamonds, the platinum claw mounts of the latter contrasting beautifully with the 18k yellow gold band. With elegant pinched shoulders and a .75 carat principle stone, it would make a wonderful antique engagement ring. A dainty example of this popular style, perfectly encapsulating the elegance and refinement of Edwardian period jewellery.
