1980s Marquis Sapphire Diamond 14k yellow gold cluster ring.

The Marquis Blue Sapphire and diamond 14k yellow gold cluster ring was made in the 1980s.  The Sapphire is a rich steel blue color surrounded by tapered baguette and round brilliant cut diamonds.  

Marquis cut stones with their elongated shape create the illusion of a greater size, enhancing the overall visual impact.  This blue Sapphire weighs approximately one carat, though it appears to be much larger.

 DIAMONDS: 6 Tapered baguette diamonds and 10 round brilliant cut diamonds total approximately 0.70 carat, approximately SI clarity, H-J color.
